Thank you for your interest in the Meadow Creek PTA Executive Board. The term starts July 1st and concludes on June 30th. All positions are 1-year terms and can be held consecutively for a maximum of 2 years.

The last day to submit Slate Nomination forms for the 2021-22 school year is March 28, 2021. The slate will be voted on by the membership at the April PTA Membership meeting and will be posted by the Nominating Committee, no less than 10 days prior to the meeting.

Requirements:
Must be a Meadow Creek PTA member
Must attend monthly board meetings
Must be willing to attend ongoing PTA training
Must be willing to volunteer at various PTA sponsored functions

Executive Board Positions and Job Descriptions

President
Manages the operations of the Meadow Creek PTA; serves as the presiding officer over executive board and general membership meetings; ensures Meadow Creek PTA meets all requirements of Texas PTA, coordinates with Meadow Creek staff; supports other board members.

1st VP of Membership
Recruits new members and maintains membership data throughout the school year; coordinates membership drives, staff recruitment, and student participation; submits members and dues to Texas PTA monthly; applies for Texas PTA membership awards; ensures Meadow Creek PTA meets all requirements from Texas PTA.

2nd VP of Volunteers
Organizes and coordinates volunteers for school events and activities.

3rd VP of Fundraising
Works to coordinate fundraising events, logistics of fundraisers, and works with committees for events.

4th VP of Programs
Coordinates programs for families and students on campus and at Membership meetings.

5th VP of Hospitality
Coordinates monthly hospitality for the Meadow Creek Staff as well as events for guests, visitors, teachers, and families for our campus throughout the year.

6th VP of Family Engagement
Coordinates family events for the students and families of Meadow Creek; helps foster and build a community both in and outside of school.

7th VP of Communications
Maintains PTA communications; keep websites and all social media up to date with PTA, school, and local events and information.

Secretary
Keeps accurate records including minutes of all PTA proceedings; Submits information to Texas PTA; ensures PTA members complete mandated training and agreements; maintains knowledge of PTA retention policies.

Treasurer
Manages the budget and the financial documents for Meadow Creek PTA in coordination with the President; serves as custodian of funds; receives and distributes all monies in accordance with budget; serves as authorized signer on all PTA accounts; trains board members on best financial practices.
